Elm Sunset
The Elm Sunset charcuterie board is a striking piece born from nature’s resilience following a devastating wind event in Mirboo North in early 2024. After an extremely high windstorm twisted and ripped a large elm tree’s bow, it was deemed unsuitable for building or furniture. Rather than being discarded as firewood, this unique section of wood was repurposed into an elegant serving platter. Measuring 625mm x 265mm x 12mm, the board features vibrant yellow and orange epoxy resin that mimics the warmth of a sunset, creating a beautiful contrast with the elm’s natural grain. This artful piece combines both beauty and history.
